Hunan Satellite TV's home shopping and e-commerce subsidiary Happigo (www.happigo.com) signed a strategic agreement with China Mobile (NYSE:CHL, 941.HK) subsidiary Hunan Mobile on April 15 to provide purchasing information via SMS and product-inquiry service via China Mobile hotline 12580 to Happigo members, reports Hunan Daily. The companies also intend to establish wireless application protocol (WAP) and mobile TV shopping platforms, said the report. Hunan Mobile will provide Happigo with its mobile payment platform in mid-May, said Hunan Mobile Vice General Manager Guo Xiaoming.
