Online game and software company Kingsoft (3888.HK) currently has more than 2,200 employees, with 55% working on research and development, reports CNETnews.com.cn citing sources. The company expects to reach 2,700 employees by the end of this year and, according to company Chairman and CEO Pak Kwan Kau, has abundant capital and will not reduce salary or staff during the economic downturn. Kingsoft had 1,970 employees by June 30, 2008.
